A sophisticated Cartier travel alarm clock / folding desk clock, combining the unmistakable styling of the Maison’s celebrated Ballon Bleu design with a compact format intended for travel or bedside use. This beautifully engineered Cartier timepiece is marked to the reverse 668583GD / 3038 and is accompanied by its original red Cartier protective pouch.

The clock features Cartier’s instantly recognizable rounded case profile, dominated by the distinctive integrated crown guard and blue cabochon-set winding/setting crown. The softly silvered dial is classically Cartier, displaying oversized black Roman numerals, an inner minute track and elegant blued-steel sword-form hands. The concealed Cartier signature incorporated into the Roman numeral VII provides another characteristic detail of the house.

Condition

Presented in good vintage/pre-owned condition with normal surface wear, fine scratches and light marks to the polished case consistent with age and careful use. The photographs form an important part of the condition description and show the piece from multiple angles, including the dial, case, folding mechanism and engraved reverse. The original Cartier pouch also shows light signs of handling appropriate to age.
