Here is a rare and very Large late 19th Century Murano Gold Glass Hand Painted Italian Apothecary Jar. Translated to "Ancient Pharmacy of the Discalced Carmelites Dulcam". A large pharmacy jar used by the Order of the Discalced Carmelites of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel, a sect of catholic friars and nuns founded in 1562.

The jar is labeled Dulcam, which translates to “Sweets”.
